Mersin University Rector Prof. Dr. Erol YAŞAR announced the implementation of a significant support package for projects that have qualified for support under the TÜSEB A and B Group programs. This initiative aims to encourage health-themed scientific research conducted at the university, increase researchers' project development capacity, and strengthen applications to TÜSEB support programs. Accordingly, starting in 2026, the Mersin University Research Dean's Office will provide additional infrastructure support to researchers who have qualified for support in TÜSEB project calls, based on their project groups. This support aims to enable researchers to conduct their project processes more effectively, increase scientific output, and strengthen the university's research capacity.

Within the scope of the support program:

B4 Group projects will receive 1,000,000 TL

B3 Group projects will receive 750,000 TL

B2 Group projects will receive 600,000 TL

B1 Group projects will receive 500,000 TL

Infrastructure support will be provided.

Furthermore;

A4-U (Expert) projects will receive 250,000 TL

A4-A (Academic Staff) projects will receive 250,000 TL

A4-UM, A3 and A2 projects will receive 150,000 TL

A1 (Undergraduate) projects will receive 40,000 TL

Support will be provided.

This initiative, implemented by the Mersin University Research Dean's Office, aims to increase the number of TÜSEB-supported projects, enable researchers to utilize national funding sources more effectively, and encourage high-quality scientific studies in the health field.

The Research Dean's Office continues to contribute to Mersin University's research-oriented university vision by strengthening support mechanisms for academics in project development, application, and implementation processes. The university administration invites researchers to apply to national and international funding programs, primarily TÜSEB, aiming to increase scientific productivity and further strengthen the research ecosystem.
