A National Information Day will be organized for the Higher Education Initiative (HEI) call, which is implemented under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme and within the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), and which has attracted significant interest from higher education institutions in our country!

The EIT Higher Education Initiative aims to increase the innovation and entrepreneurship capacities of higher education institutions and to strengthen interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaborations across Europe. Applications for the 2025 call, which offers 100% grant opportunities up to €2 million per project, will continue until March 4, 2026, CET 17:00.

The EIT HEI 2025 Call National Information Day will be held online on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The event will provide up-to-date information on the scope of the EIT HEI call, application conditions, and the evaluation process.

As part of the information day, representatives of projects from Türkiye that were awarded funding last year will also share their application process, consortium structures, project objectives, and implementation experiences with the participants. These presentations are intended to guide higher education institutions planning to apply to EIT HEI calls in the new period.
