Strategies for Publishing in High-Impact-Factor Journals to be Revisited

The Mersin University Research Deanery (ARDEK) is hosting a follow-up session of its event, "Techniques for Writing Articles for High-Impact Factor Journals (Q1/Q2)," in response to high demand and numerous requests. The initiative aims to enhance the international scientific publication performance of academics and postgraduate researchers and to support the production of high-quality academic work.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 13:00 in Hall B of the Prof. Dr. Uğur Oral Culture Center. Faculty members from the Department of Biotechnology—Prof. Dr. Faheem Shahzad Baloch and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Azhar Nadeem—will share their insights and experiences regarding the process of publishing in prestigious international scientific journals.

The training will cover topics such as selecting the appropriate journal, effective article-writing techniques, crafting titles, abstracts, and keywords, ensuring originality in literature reviews, the ethical use of artificial intelligence tools in academic writing, quality criteria for methodology and data presentation, and the editorial and peer-review process. Additionally, the session will focus on the effective management of revision processes and strategies to increase the likelihood of publication success.

Coordinated by the Mersin University Research Deanery, this event seeks to strengthen the competencies of researchers in the field of academic publishing, encourage high-quality scientific output, and bolster the university’s international academic visibility.
